November New Play Readings

November 20/2:00 PM/Phantom Power

Creative Works of Lancaster and the Lancaster Dramatists’ Platform present readings of new plays by local playwrights on Sunday afternoon, November 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Phantom Power, 121 West Frederick Street, Millersville.

After a several-year hiatus from public readings, during which many drafts were read around a table or on Zoom, members of the Lancaster Dramatists’ Platform are eager to share their work with an audience. Following up on an afternoon of readings in late August, the November event will feature pieces by five more playwrights: Josh P. Cohen, Caleb Corkery, Kasia Jakubiak, Kerri Kochanski, and Adam Richter. The plays will be performed as readings by local actors.

Creative Works utilizes a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing model with no fixed ticket prices. We will never turn away a potential audience member due to financial limitations, and you never need to risk feeling like your experience did not match what you paid. Simply reserve your ticket now and pay what you think the experience was worth after the performance.

Tickets can be reserved through the Creative Works of Lancaster website: www.creativelancaster.org and will be available at the door.

Creative Works of Lancaster receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Thanks to the PCA and to regional PA Partner, Berks Arts.
